Hey Y'all

I used to have a huge accent. Not quite like Paula Deen, but so much so that in 9th grade when I moved to Tulsa from Louisiana, I was sent to the principal's office because I told a teacher (Coach Roepke for all my BK friends) he was stallin'. He thought I called him Stalin (like the dictator), who I don't think I learned about in school until about 3 years later. But, really, that has nothing to do with this post.

Looking for a segue here...

Um. Nothing.

Okay, so the other day I was in Michael's and I was excited to discover their Paula Deen Collection. She has an entire party section, including invites, cupcake wrappers and toppers, thank you notes and matching favor boxes.

In addition, there is an entire collection of gift tags...
and a cooking collection. This stuff was so cheap - the recipe boxes were $3 and the cards were $1.

Bye, y'all!

  4. Jane, I know, right? Don't worry, I was promptly dismissed. And, as you can imagine, I had never been in trouble in my life so I was pretty much flipping!

  5. WE are new to the south. My 3rd child who has only known the south has the southern drawl. It is so fun.

I love Paula Dean. I can't wait to go check it out. Thanks for all your great tips.
