Multiple Blessings & a Contest!!!

After my first ever contest last week, I was lucky enough to be introduced to Caroline of Multiple Blessings. I absolutely LOVE Caroline’s story. She has achieved the goal that so many of us strive to attain --- to understand our purpose in life and use that innate talent you are given to bring joy to others. It really does not get any better than that! Caroline is a beautiful artist and has created a line of paper products that you guys will all drool over. But, each product has a message for both the sender and recipient. She uses quotes from scripture, instead of a generic greeting to convey her card messages.

Here are some samples of her awesome work!

Everyone needs a pack of these:

Perfect for a shower or wedding card, the inside has this wonderfully inspiring quote:
Psalm 31:7 “I will be glad and rejoice in your love…” May God bless your marriage each and every day!

You can purchase 10 for $14.50 online. Everyone needs these around the house. If you are anything like me you are running around at the last minute looking for something to put with your gift!

With all of the baby showers I go to, I definitely need these around too. And, they are so cute and the message is fabulous!

Proverbs 22:6 “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” Congratulations and may your new, little chick be blessed!

Check out her site for more of these. I have actually put in an order myself for several to have on hand for weddings, babies and sympathy. (Hmmm….I wonder if Caroline might be interested in selling a card set for all occasions….I might have to suggest that!)

Also, on her site, she honestly has some of the cutest Christmas designs for holiday cards, notepads, bookmarks and these tissue holders that are sooo cute with such a beautiful blessing on them:

(You guys know my bird obsession!) This holder is only $16 and includes a little mirror. I love it!

Well, I am so blessed to have “met” (well, virtually, at least) Caroline and even more blessed that she wants to share with my readers. So, it is contest time!!!

Caroline has agreed to give a fantastic set of prizes to the winner!

First, in the package: Her Grace Bits. These are so awesome! They come in the cutest tin with 36 individual notes with a message. Here are some samples:

They are all so cute! Check all 36 cards out here.

In addition, she is also going to give away a pack of Greeting Cards like those shown above AND a bookmark of your choice! Like this cute one:

There is even more! To enter, please just write a comment about the person who has been a blessing in your life (I know it might be hard to pick just one : ), but Caroline will award the winner AND their special friend the Grace Bits, MB greeting cards and a MB bookmark! She will also share with your special friend the beautiful words you shared about them. Can you imagine how wonderful someone’s day will be? The contest will end Monday evening at 6PM CST and a winner will be announced Tuesday. Can’t wait to hear your stories!!!

  1. My best friend,Caryl, has been a blessing in my life. We have always had a great bondand so did our husbands. But when my husband became ill and later passed away, she and her husband put their lives on hold. They had intended to move when Ron got sick. She told her husband she would not leave us in our time of need and was steadfast all during his illness. After his death she knew I could not handle losing anyone else so close to me and again put their plans on hold for another year. She has always been there for me, good or bad. Even though she now lives in Kansas City, we stay close and are in contact each week. She will always be my best friendand I will never forget the sacrifice that she and her husband made for us. That is what true friendship is all about.

  2. My twin sister, Andrea Segraves, is my rock and my hero. We have been sisters, best friends and a part of one another literally since the day we were born. We took care of each other growing up and when it came time to go off to college, shockingly, we went separate ways. She went to OU and I went to OSU...rival schools! We had so much fun with it, making friends in both places. After graduation, she moved to Texas because she is a teacher...and we all know teachers in Texas make a whole lot more money than they do in Oklahoma. Since then, I have gotten married and had two little girls. She was there for ALL of it. We moved to Italy for a short time and she was there for that too. Her little boy was born last Ocotber and I was there for that! She lives in Dickinson, TX, which is between Galveston and Houston and is preparing at home for Hurrican Ike. She has blessed my life in more ways than I could ever express in words, but the biggest part of her blessing my life has been the way she inspires me with her passion for children. She went directly to Galveston to teach in a low-income area where she thrived on loving those children who really needed simply to be loved. She was named Teacher of the Year her first year of teaching. She had her first child in October and earned her Masters degree in December and this year started her first year as an Assistant Principle. She is amazing with children and can help those who everyone else wants to give up on. She is not only my best friend, a tremendous blessing in my life, a wonderful mother, a caring daughter, but most of all, I am most proud to call her my angel, my twin sister, Andrea Segraves!

  4. I have a longtime friend that has been with me through good times and bad times. Her name is Erica and I know that she is a true friend. She was my next door neighbor growing up and 15 years later we are as close as ever. I cannot imagine my life without her.

  7. Where do you even begin writing about one of the most kind, gentle, and inspiring people you will ever know who blessed my life more than words can express. My grandma was truly one of a kind that we all can only hope to imitate throughout our lives. She will always live in my heart as a true blessing who made me a better person because of her kind spirit, constant optimistic outlook on life, and her genuine selfless thoughtfulness and generosity. Her greatness enabled her to be the brilliant, successful individual she came to be in her life. She always saw the good in everyone and everything in life. She lived her life to the fullest, whether it was her success in real estate or her love for her family and close friends. Never did you hear her speak a bad word about anyone or anything because it was only in her nature to appreciate life and everything it had to offer. She is one of if not the most positive women I have ever been around. Never was she anything short of loving, welcoming, and generous beyond comprehension. Never did I ever have a moment where I questioned how much she loved me or how beautiful she thought I was. I never had to wonder where I stood in her thoughts and I knew I meant the world to her. My Grandma is an inspiration and she has been a blessing in my life.

  8. I feel blessed to have my mother-in-law, Melissa, in my life. A lot of my friends have MIL horror stories but Melissa is a wonderful MIL! She is one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met. She would do anything for anyone! She is a wonderful baker and loves to bake cookies for people as a thank you or a thinking of you; she has even baked cookies for a Home Depot employee who gave her some extra help - that is just the type of person she is! Melissa would especially do anything for her family and I feel blessed to be a part of that family.

  9. Jane, JJB123, Wise Benson---whatever name you want to use, Janie is my best friend and I am blessed to have her in my life. I cannot tell you exactly when I met her; I know it was at church camp and we were in junior high--7th or 8th grade. We lived in different cities, but had a blast for several summers together before we started being in touch during the whole year. When I decided I was going to OSU, all of my high school friends were going to OU. I found out Janie was going to OSU also so we decided to live together in the dorms. What an amazing adventure we embarked upon together! We've been out of college for 8 years now (yowzas!), and are even closer than the days we lived in the same tiny room--sometime with up to 2 more fabulous women (Kate and Stef!). I was reminded this past year as I planned my wedding and had some tense moments with family, how much she sticks by my side. She tells me when I'm being overly sensitive or if I'm justified in being upset. She tells it like it is! With Hurricane Ike this past week looming over Texas, I was Nervous Nelly because she has recently moved to Houston. I am incredibly thankful that the storm has passed and she and her family are safe---I was petrified something would happen and I wouldn't have know what to do without her. Now that I've rambled on, let me reiterate that I am truly blessed to have Janie in my life!

  10. I know this will not be a shocker to anyone who reads this, but my best friend, Emily, is an amazing blessing in my life. I don't know when I met Emily, because I don't remember a time in my life that she was not in it. We have grown up together from high school to college, to graduation and marriage. We have also been blessed with multiple blessings, seeing that we have shared more laughs than tears. I was fortunate to tell her those very words at her rehearsal dinner this past July. I had the honor of standing as a bridesmaid in her wedding. It was such an honor to be part of her day and see the sheer joy and happiness in her eyes as she was joined to a love that is so worthy of her. I am not a overly emotional and do not cry by nature, but every aspect of her wedding made me a total idiot. (I am sure got rather tired of my freakish sobs!!) She knows me well enough I get emails and texts at odd times-her 'bff' feeling kicking in...and they are always right. I don't know why God thought so much of me to bless me with a friend like her, but I thank Him everyday that he did.
