Blueberry Pickin’

Yesterday I did something I have never done before – picked blueberries.  Even more surprisingly (at least it was for this city girl), I did this at Endicott Farms in Tulsa.

Even more fun, we got to go with our nephews.  They were definitely fans.  Especially this little guy!

This was the scene the whole time :).

My blueberry haul.

I also picked some blackberries.  I actually got a lot more than this…not sure why I only took this picture.

And this is just what Max picked!

We had a great time. I love doing something new and it was even more fun to spend time with our sweet nephews!

On the agenda today – Blueberry Cobbler. Hopefully, a recipe will be coming soon.  I am sure the recipe will be great…you just never know about this “chef.”

  5. Oh how fun! We tried to go here in Austin, but the drought has made quite a dent on the crops.

We used to go every year growing up. It was one of my favorite parts of summer.

  6. I keep seeing Betsy post about this on facebook and i keep thinking about going ... but I'm lazy these days. Also, related to another post, it always takes me a few sentences to remember you have another friend named Jane who you know in real life who blogs. :) Hahahahah!!!!!
