Red Cups are Back!

Okay, so if you like Sonic's Happy Hour, I have one better for you. Today through the 21st Starbucks is having a Buy 1 Get One Free holiday drink special from 2-5. Um, if you are looking for me during the afternoon hours, I pretty much know where you can find me. I will be the one hitting up all my local Starbucks all hyped up on the Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha, skim milk, three splendas. And maybe I will get a second one all for myself and not share it with my "friend." Because I think the Creme Brulee Latte sounds pretty fab, too.

Also, next week I am really excited to have another contest! My friend Marie has started a new cookie business (which is FAB) and will ship the winner an assortment of her amazing cookies. I will leave this as a sneak peek, but you can find her website here or fan her on facebook here.

Oh, in other news, I saw Wicked today. I missed it last time it was in Tulsa and I love, love, loved it! I am not sure if it was meant to be this deep, but it really made me think about perspective and how often we judge, assume and don't know the whole story. Basically, a don't judge a book by it's cover type of story that really made me think. I am kind of Team Good Witch and Bad Witch. Who knew?

  1. Hi, Katie,
Did I ever tell you that I saw Wicked in New York? It was on my "retirement trip" with three of my friends six years ago, and we had tried unsuccessfully to purchase tickets. Someone told us about the "lottery" for tickets, so my friend Judy and I went over to the Wicked box office. She went inside for the "cancellation"
line, and I signed up outside for the lottery. I was the last name to be called, and we got front row seats for $25!!!! It was the highlight of our trip.
    Love, Aunt Angie

  3. I missed the Starbucks deal :( Daisi and I were going to go but got too busy. Glad you enjoyed Wicked - it's an amazing show! I liked it better than the book (which I read twice).
