Weekly Faves -- A Day Late

This week's weekly faves revolve around parties. It just happened that way or maybe I had parties on the brain! First, you guys have to check out my friend Addie's party that she threw for her son. I cannot copy her pictures from her blog, but it is so adorable! Nesxt, I just thought this "rabbit" salad garnish featured on One Charming Party was just beyond adorable. I think you might even be able to get a kid to eat one! You all MUST go to Celebrations at Home and check out this baby shower she threw. The theme was "She's about to Pop" and the details are beyond clever and adorable. I wish I would have thought to get this bunny pedicure yesterday when I went to get my nails done. Love! I love the site Spearmint Baby. She always has the cutest things featured. I love this project and so think it is something I could do. It would be really cute at a cute as a button shower, too. See the full tutorial at American Crafts Studio.
Lastly, the Couture Cakery feautured this cake and I am seriously in love! I want a grey and yellow color scheme -- a room, a cake, a wardrobe. I am loving it. Odd, considering yellow is my least favorite color.
Thanks to all of you for prayers for my uncle. He had his MRI on Friday, but the tests were inconclusive, so they are running more. I appreciate your continued prayers and will keep you guys posted.

  2. My bedroom is grey and yellow! I love the combo together, but rarely pick up anything yellow on it's own either!

And um.. that button "A" is such a cute idea! I also love the "Shes about to pop!" How fun!

  3. And I forgot to comment, but I am definitely saying prayers for your uncle. It's so weird how inconclusive tests can seem reassuring and worrying at the same time... *sigh*
