35 week bumpdate
How Far Along: 35 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I was weighed on a true doctor’s scale on Thursday and was up 17 pounds, so we are going with that.
Gender: It’s a girl!
Movement: She still loves my upper right rib!
Sleep: It is hit or miss. Some days are great, some notsomuch. Last night was a total bust. However, I had a nice time catching up on all of my sleep this past long weekend!
Maternity Clothes: Basically, all maternity except for dresses and some tops.
Symptoms: Mild reflux. (What in the world?) Also, bending over isn’t quite what it used to be.
Aversions: None really!
Cravings: Sweets, sweets and more sweets. I haven’t been too bad, but if I indulge, I am like an addict and want more, more, more. My stash on hand is semi-sweet chocolate chips. It could be worse, right?
Also, cereal always sounds good. But that I loved cereal as a snack pre-pregnancy, too.
Best Moment this week: It was sooooo nice to have a long weekend to get ready! I am still nowhere near feeling prepared, but her clothes are washed, her room is ready except for her bedding and all of her bottles, pacifiers, etc. are clean.
Annnnd!!! I just got an email that my bedding is shipping tomorrow! I am soooo excited!!!! I will post pics as soon as it is in. She sent a picture and it looks awesome! I cannot wait!
Tommy and I are really prepping for baby Emmy. Last night we watched Happiest Baby on the Block. It was only 30 minutes and really was educational. I learned some good tips and some psychology of how baby’s work. Tonight we are taking a Baby Care 101 class at the hospital. My hopes are that this will get Tommy more confident with diaper changes :). We will see…
LOVE Happiest Baby on the Block! I am totally not one for the whole How-To book or whatever, but it is GENIUS! Live it and love it!
ReplyDeleteDid you have Emmy's bumpers made? Where!? I am wanting to have the new one's made, but I have no idea where to start.
You look adorable!!!
You look so adorable!! That's great that you are taking all the care classes, and, of course, you'll have lots of good expert advice from yur friends and family!

Adorable dress! Wont be long :)
ReplyDeleteCute dress! Way to go with the educational stuff. I had to force Dustin to watch a few videos, but I knew it would be good for him (and me)! A little confidence goes a long way around babies! You guys are soo close!
ReplyDeleteE-nough. Done. Done, done, done, done, done-ski. Enough already. Honestly, now it is getting offensive. I mean, Costa Rica just had this horrible earthquake and you counter with your super cute dress and adorable Emmy-Bump? I mean, c'mon! While I respect that you are pregnant and looking all cute in that precious dress. I just don't appreciate you not giving notice that you are off the charts adorable with your teeny, yet appropriately sized, bump and adorableness. All I'm saying, is next week, give me some notice. OK?
ReplyDeleteOK, glad we understand each other.
Janie
PS: Your "I'm not a robot" thing H.A.T.E.S. me. I look at it and think: "why don't you just ask me why my cellulite is so bad?" Or "What church do you want to donate to because your mom can't get pregnant?" Seriously.

ReplyDeleteYou look adorable! I'm pretty sure my stash would have to be more than chocolate morsels! haha!
