Cute, cute, cute!

You know I love anything personalized. Now, it does NOT get any cuter than the site namemaker, sent to me by my loyal blog reader, longtime friend and sorority sister, Amy! So, special thanks to her for sending this on. I love it!

I have honestly never seen personalized wrapping paper. Um, fabulous! They have some really cute ideas on the site on how to personalize it too. I espcially love this. This would be perfect for weddings and the fabric is so preppy and cute. Imagine this ribbon on the gift wrap above. Cute x 10!
I would have loved to have wrapped my bridesmaid's gifts like this.
I love little gable boxes and ones with polka dots are even more fun. I would love to give this as a shower favor.
And, for all of the cute ribbon we will be buying now - this organzing drawer is awesome!
Also on the site, for those entrepreneurs out there, they also sell anything made with fabric, namemaker also makes custom tags for your products.

Enjoy and thanks again, Amy!

Louisiana's Cutest Mardi Gras King

My sweet Paw Paw (my dad's dad) was named Mardi Gras King of his assisted living facility. Does it get any cuter than this??? (I am sure that is just orange juice he has ; )

This is Paw Paw with the Mardi Gras Queen.
The king and queen with my Uncle David and Chris.
Aunt Angie (far right) is always sweet to keep us updated on how Paw Paw is doing. Paw Paw will turn 95 this year! I have so many great memories of spending time with Paw Paw growing up. My sister and I would go to his house sometimes after school and we would steal Coke from Uncle David, play with Paw Paw's old timey cash machine (he owned a little grocery store at one time), we would play dominos and war with him. Paw Paw also used to have oatmeal squares cereal and since Allison and I must have been denied sweets as children we have a weird cereal addiction. And, still to this day, I get oatmeal squares and think of Paw Paw. I am glad his senior living facility recognizes how special he is too.

Swoozies

I came across this site the other day and thought I would share the love. They have some really fun party supply items and some really clever stuff. And, you know how I feel about clever.

I had previously seen the inventor of this cup on the Donny Deutsch show (Donny -- if you are reading this, where are you???). I love this idea and it is so smart it makes you say---Why didn't I think of that? Ugh! I so want a clever inventive idea to come my way. Anyway, just your everyday plastic cups that you can etch your name in with your fingernail. No need for Sharpies. You have the tools you need already!

These cups, I just love. My aunt bought me some for my pool party on the day of the wedding that said "One last fling before the wedding bells ring."

The site also has cute napkins.
And, for those serious entertainers, I love these. They are perfect for hosting showers or cocktails (I act like I host these type of events). They are etched glass initial plates. Love them!

Hope you enjoy my finds. Maybe I will come across some other fabulous store tomorrow. : )

A facebook forward

So, since I am now on Facebook (I took over Tommy's account---he no longer wanted an internet footprint--I know, I know), I decided to steal a little post/wall forward thing (what are these called??) for today's blog post. See, I knew I could come up with something. So, here you have it...

Another website!

I have just finished a new website! Please be my beta testers : )!

Back in January, I finished the website for Moore Barbell. Chris was nice enough to recommend me to his trainer, Luke. Luke was looking for a site for his training facility, The Colosseum, and hired me to create his website. I had a ton of fun making the site. And, Luke was so awesome and easy to work with. He had great opinions, input and taste and was so easy to please.

Anyway, check out my new site and let me know what you think! Hope you enjoy!

More Puppy Party Ideas...

My sister had some more really cute puppy party ideas!

1 - Little sandwiches or pizzas in the shape of dog bones cut with little bone cookie cutters. Wouldn't that be precious!?

2- Little dog bone straws!

3- Max would be "Top Dog" and could wear these darling little ears!

4- We could serve food out of brand new dog bowls of which I could later use for my pups. (My dog bowls are sad. They were so cute at one time...but shocker of all shockers my dogs chewed on them.)

5- Pudge will come dressed in his tux.

The Bachelor

Because The Bachelor just keeps getting better and better, I thought I would share some Bachelor love with you guys.

First, if you haven't, you must read Chris Harrison's blog that he publishes weekly. I love being "in the know" of all the behind the scenes info.

Second, I am sure you all love Lincee's recaps of each show. You really don't even have to watch the show to enjoy them. My favorite quote this week was: "She’s so…Wearing a plaid flannel shirt from high school?

Jason hops out of the chopper. I kid you not reader…he is wearing an almost identical shirt as Jill. Straight up from page 32 of the 1997 Eddie Bauer catalogue.

The flannel twins race across the moor and embrace each other as if they were two long-lost lumberjacks finding love for the first time. "

And, Julie sent me this link to a blogger I have never read before. But, supposedly tomorrow he will have the spoiler of the century.

From what I have been reading it sounds like Jason may have met his "future wife" before. Hmmm...I am putting my bet on Mel!

Speaking of puppies...

Thanks for all of the great puppy ideas. I will post some more cute ones that you guys emailed me tomorrow. My sister had some super cute ones!

For the past few weeks, I have been coming home to quite a mess from my little Carter. I think he is trying to send his mom a message:

According to Tommy, Carter hates It's in the Details and thinks that mom works too much. I think I have to agree.

Puppy Party

Because I am in a party mood, I have been really trying to push a 1st birthday party on my sister-in-law for Max's upcoming 1st birthday.

1- Because she will totally let me plan it.

2- Because everyone 1 year old needs a party!

3- Could a puppy theme be ANY cuter for a baby whose first words were dada and dog?

Don't worry, Kristen is totally down. Well, I am not sure she wants to send invites (who do you invite to a 1st birthday party that you wouldn't just call?), but they are just soooo cute, I don't know how she couldn't!!!

Here is what I have found. Seriously. So. Cute. (Sidenote, check out this website. These invites are freaking adorable.)

Foodwise, I am thinking "puppy chow" and puppy cupcakes (click the link...they make these look so easy)! I mean, these are so cute too. It is like the perfect combo - something miniature, a cupcake and dogs. Heaven.

So, here is where I need your help! Any more ideas for the ultimate cuteness party?

Oklahoma Travel Net

Many of you guys know just how random I am. One thought pops into my mind and then another. Well, I am pretty much the same when it comes to web surfing. Somehow, while searching for something online tonight, I ran across a great website that I know you guys will love: Oklahoma Travel Net. I love that there are tons of videos with random places throughout the state and, specifically, Tulsa. This will sooo come in handy for out of town visitors. And, I am very impressed with the video quality and load time. (Can you tell I have been working on a website lately??)

Did you guys know we have a children's museum??

Tommy and I have ALWAYS wondered about that "Asian Museum" at the entrance to I-44 and Harvard. Well, now I know!

I consider myself pretty "in the know" but I had NEVER heard of this chocolatier. And, you know how I love dessert!

Also, for those of you who are interested in a "staycation" this summer, there are many interesting places to visit. I might just have to take a trip throughout OK soon. I am so intrigued.

There are no words...

You know the lady that had 8 babies? She now has a new website, where you can send well wishes and donations to the new mother. Not to start a controversy here, but seriously????? Maybe I should add a donate button to my blog. XOXO readers!

From Cute Overload. I love these pups!

From Fail Blog. You guys need to check out that site. There is something on there everyday that cracks me up.

And, from Cuteable. She featured these circus themed cards earlier this week. So cute!!

Valentine's for the Boys

I find shopping for men to be one of the most difficult tasks in the world. Tommy is impossible. So, I thought I would help you ladies out if you were looking for the perfect gift for your man this Valentine's Day. Now I know nothing says romance like a video game but even the girls will love this old school game player. I got this for Tommy about 3 Christmases ago and he still is playing it. It is a game system you just plug into the front of your tv and includes such classics as:
Original Super Mario Brothers
Tetris (LOVE it!!!)
Duck Hunt
PacMan
Arkanoid (basically a ball bounces and you have to remove tiles and not have the ball fall)
And so many more. Hours of fun!

The google of shopping

I have found the best website. It is the Google of shopping! It is perfect for finding that perfect item that you have been looking for and much more specific than Yahoo Shopping or Google's shopping portal. It is called The Find.

A friend of mine is having a son named Ford and wanted some help finding a Ford logo sign for over his bed. She had trouble finding one, but I found about 12 within 5 minutes. Here is what I came up with as the best possible option:

And, at only $12, you cannot beat that!

Oh the carnage!

It's always wonderful to be greeted by your husband with "you're not going to like this" after a long day of work. So, everyone...here is my left slipper.
And, here is my right slipper.
And, this is the carnage.
According to Tommy, Carter never liked these slippers. Can someone help me understand how I can own these slippers for well over a year and my dog chooses today to eat them?
